Lake Stevens is situated east of I-5 and is accessible via two main highways. Depending on which direction you are traveling either take Highway 2 or Highway 9. Celebrated as a lake community, Lake Stevens proclaims some of Washington State’s most prestigious, and sought after water front properties. Named after the largest lake in the county (1,000 acres and 8 miles of shoreline), Lake Stevens is east of Everett.

Lake Stevens has much to offer its residents. The Centennial Trail, running through east Lake Stevens from Snohomish to Arlington provides a place where bikers, walkers, and joggers can enjoy the outdoors safely off of the main roads. Several parks provide recreation for those of all ages and a variety of interests. Both North Cove Park, located in downtown Lake Stevens and Wyatt Park located on the opposite shore of the lake provide a boat launch and swimming area. Lundeen Park, on the north shore has picnic sites and a protected swimming area. Other parks include Catherine Creek Park featuring an 18 hole disk golf course, and the Centennial Woods, a 6.5 acre nature park. The lake has both public and private shore lands, with sandy public beaches and public boat launches. Canoes, jet skis, airplanes, sailboats, surfboards, rowboats, windsurfers and activities like horseback riding, sunbathing, and fishing can all be enjoyed at Lake Stevens.
